Why try to be perfect?

Is good enough enough?

What target less than 100% would you be happy with?

This is Dan Damon with World Update - I'm talking to the head of a girls school that is introducing a test the girls cannot get 100% right - the questions get harder until they fail. The idea is to make the girls resilient and teach them not to be scared of failure - "to fail well." Is failure okay? It's inevitable, of course, but should young girls be taught to accept it? Have you been tyrannised by perfection and fear of failure? Or do we need to set ourselves the highest targets in order to achieve the most? When did you achieve or meet perfection? How do you cope with failure?
